Alicante, on the Costa Blanca...
...really does need a good review, especially after seeing this video, which for me was a good reminder of what's actually here to interest anyone planning on visiting Alicante.
I actually found this video about Alicante on Youtube today, and it really is an excellent job, well done. I wish I could say the same about the description found below the video, but anyway let's see if I can do it better:) I must say the video really does show the real landscape diversity Alicante has to offer as a province, and its significant historical background dating back to over 3000 years.
The Costa Blanca has over 100 km of sandy beaches and rocky coves to explore, but if you move away from the coastline, you will find the beautiful scenery shown in the video. The northern Costa Blanca is a mountainous terrain with cliffs and coves, and a mixture of pebble and fine sandy beaches, and is surprisingly green and lush, whereas the southern Costa Blanca is mainly flat with fine sandy beaches, palm trees ,palm groves, and salt lakes. The Costa Blanca is one of Spain's most popular holiday / vacation regions, and has also become home to many Europeans, who just couldn't help falling in love with the sheer beauty and diversity that Alicante beholds.
