Alicante - Las Hogueras The Fire Festival

Well another year passes and once again a very successful San Juan night, with bonfires, fireworks, water fights, plenty of alcohol consumed and indeed a very noisy night out in down town Alicante.

We have just hit July now and the temperature is averaging about 30ºc and it's not too sticky yet either. There is a slight breeze for daytime relief and the evenings are just perfect to go out for a drink by the beach, sit back and enjoy the beautiful surrounding views of the stretching coastline and the ever ending blue sea.
